Colourising old photos

The online genealogy platform MyHeritage offers the facility to colourise old black and white family photos.

Here is a selection from the Hiley archives:

Charles and Betty Hiley lived in Bottoms in the 1850s and 1860s and brought up their 11 children there

The Jackson connection
This photo was taken on the occasion of Willis Jackson's wedding in Cheshire in1938

Herbert was a gardener and looked after Ightenhill Park in Burnley. He grew the orchids.
